"I love historical suits: the complexity of the cut, the embroidery, the materials... It lives through centuries, breathes, creating an aura of luxury and feminity... Working on the sketches, I aimed to preserve the mood and to recreate the unusual and stunning details. So you can see some historical features, such as the signature Renaissance neckline, kept precisely, and some transformed to have just a slight resemblance yet retain all the atmosphere."

Kateryna Tymochko - designer, owner of the 'Kateryna Tymochko' brand:
"I believe that the greatest lessons I learned after graduating were given by my work. And my main task is finding my own creative style - recognizable, simple, exceptional. Worked as a designer, creating both casual and wedding clothes for over 7 years. Since 2018 we have been forming 'Kateryna Tymochko' brand. This is what I always wanted to do and what I consumes the most of time today."
"I have been drawing since my early childhood. My sketchbook was my biggest treasure. Along with the colorful candy wrappers, which I used for the collages in my sketchbook, and then gave them names.
I had secrets. Especially, when nobody was at home. I opened my ward-robe, where hats and dresses were stored. I still remember those favorite colours of mine. Cyan blue, green.
Then, movies about fashion, the designers' biographies. I was reading them all with passion. I was sketching in my school notebooks. I called them 'catalogues'.
Now, when I look back, I understand that coincidences don't exist.
Maybe, when I was a 6-year-old girl, I didn't understand why I was draw-ing. But now I understand, that even at our early years we still know who we want to be in this world."
